Session Types
Initial Consultation, 20 min (Virtual)
$40
The initial consultation allows us to learn more about your style goals and challenges, to determine which services we recommend for you. The initial consultation is a necessary first step for all new styling clients - the choice of the 20 minute or 40 minute session is up to you.
Extended Initial Consultation, 40 min (Virtual)
$80
This extended session also includes basic color analysis and allows more time for first-time clients to get feedback and recommendations from our stylist. We'll go over what you'd like to achieve from our styling sessions, the challenges you're having with your current wardrobe, and where you get your style inspiration. If you have gaps to fill or you're seeking new pieces, we'll also talk clothing budget.
Styling Session, 30 min (Virtual)
$60
The 30min styling session is recommended for sizing and color analysis. This session is recommended to all our clients, and necessary for those who plan to use our personal shopping services. We'll go over your measurements and fit preferences, and provide recommendations for flattering cuts and colors. The 30min session can also be used by any returning clients for any of our other services if the recommended 1hr session isn't needed.
Styling Session, 1 hour | 2 hour
$120 | $240
Our stylist will recommend either the 1hr or 2hr session for closet inventory and mixing & matching, depending on your clothing volume and your preferences for tackling your wardrobe in bite sized pieces or all at once. For clients in the local DC area, the 1hr in-person session may be recommended for travel packing, and the 2hr in-person session may be recommended for closet inventory and organization.
Services
Closet Inventory
In this session we'll assess what you already have and find out what you regularly wear, what you love or don’t, what you could use more of, and what you may want to part with. This is the time to go through everything in your 'maybe' pile and let us help you determine what is and isn't serving you. We recommend at least one 1 hour or 2 hour styling session for this.
Mixing and Matching
This is the really fun part! You've refined your closet to the items that you enjoy wearing or that you'd like to wear more but maybe haven't quite figured out how to make it work in an outfit. We work with you on mixing and matching so each clothing item has multiple ways to wear it. We'll identify staples you may want to add to your wardrobe to increase how many outfits you can mix and match with, and make recommendations for items you wear often and could use in additional colors or similar styles. During this process we can also take photos so you have a digital library of outfits to reference. We recommend at least one 1 hour or 2 hour session for this, and clients may want to repeat this on a seasonal basis so outfits can be adjusted accordingly.
Personal Shopping
We offer personal online shopping services where we do the leg work and provide you with customized recommendations for items that are in your budget and from brands we trust. These are often the same suggestions we send to our friends and family for items we've bought and love! Note: we do not purchase clothing for clients. Pricing is based on the number of unique items shopped:
Under 5 items = $30 | 5-10 items = $40 | 10-15 items = $50 | 15-20 items = $60
Ad Hoc Styling & Travel Packing
Do you have an upcoming business trip or formal event? We can help. Whether you're trying to fit a week of different outfits into a carry-on or you need help choosing what to wear to a wedding, for clients in the local DC area we offer in-person sessions formal event styling and travel packing. Fiona travels internationally often and hasn't checked a bag in years! She has a number of tricks to perfect your travel wardrobe, and is an efficient packer who can help you streamline your suitcase before and during your trip. Pricing is at the same hourly rate as styling sessions, plus any materials used such as packing cubes.
Closet Inventory & Organization
For clients in the local DC area we offer in-person sessions for closet inventory and organization, and can also do outfit mixing and matching during these 2 or 3 hour sessions. Together, we’ll identify what you regularly wear, what you love or don’t, what you could use more of, and what you may want to part with. This is the time to go through everything in your 'maybe' pile and let us help you determine what is and isn't serving you. We’ll leave you with a tidier closet and fewer decisions to make in the morning! Pricing is at the same hourly rate as styling sessions, plus any materials used such as closet storage bins or slimline hangers.
Note: Most sessions offered are held remotely via Google Meet video conferencing. However, for D.C.-area local and ongoing clients, we can also offer in-person services for closet inventory, mixing and matching, and ad hoc styling needs like travel packing assistance.
